$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install glassfish-appserv 

glassfish-appserv is installed in your system.

Make ensure the glassfish-appserv package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep glassfish-appserv *

You will get with glassfish-appserv package name, version, architecture and description in a table

glassfish-appserv package basic information:
